Q2 2024 Performance of Top Film & Television iOS Apps in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the US iOS platform witnessed varied performances among the leading Film & Television applications. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the trends of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these popular apps.

Amazon Prime Video saw its revenue fluctuate, with a peak of $81K in mid-May before settling at around $50K by the end of June. Downloads spiked to 32K in mid-April but generally hovered in the 18K range. Weekly active users reached a high of 682K in mid-April, followed by a gradual decrease to around 582K by the quarter's end.

RaiPlay, despite not generating revenue, experienced a significant increase in downloads, jumping from 10K to 53K by late June. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, climbing from 103K to 226K in the same period.

Mediaset Infinity reported modest revenue figures, starting at $16K in early April and dipping to $11K by the quarter's close. Downloads saw a remarkable rise in late June, reaching 52K. Active users peaked at 168K in mid-May but experienced a dip to 111K by the end of June.

Netflix maintained steady revenue, starting at $77K and ending the quarter around $67K. Downloads saw a peak of 20K in mid-June, with weekly active users starting strong at 1.86M but slightly decreasing to 1.7M by the quarter's conclusion.

Lastly, Disney+ showcased the highest revenue among the apps, with an impressive $449K in early April, and despite slight fluctuations, ended strong with $311K. Downloads remained consistent, ranging from 9K to 15K, and weekly active users stayed in the 600K region throughout the quarter.
